Created in 1980, ACTIS is the inventor of thin thermo-reflective insulation products. Under steady-state laboratory conditions, ACTIS insulation products achieve thermal conductivity values which are better by 20 to 40% than traditional insulation products. Because of their composition and the way in which they are installed ACTIS insulation products:


  • Stop the cold in winter and reflect the heat of rooms back inside.
  • Reflect solar radiation back outside in summer, thereby preventing the overheating of attic rooms.
  • Reduce energy consumption.
  • Ensure the continuous insulation and weather and air tightness of roofs.
  • Eliminate thermal bridging around roof windows.
  • Are light, flexible, easy to carry, store and install.
  • Can be cut to size with scissors or an ACTIS cutter and fixed with staples.
  • Withstand temperature variations between -40C and +80C.
  • Are guaranteed free from asbestos and irritant fibres. Non-irritant to the touch, hypoallergenic. No overalls needed.
  • Are flexible - suitable for use on any surface type and can be moulded over any shape.
  • Are durable - do not sag away from fixings and are moisture resistant.
  • Save living space due to the thinness of the product - 25mm.
